By using Bovvio you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
Not medical advice
Bovvio is a tracking and education tool. Calorie targets, photo estimates, product grades and Guide answers are estimates that carry real error, and none of it is medical, dietary or clinical advice. Talk to a doctor or registered dietitian before making significant changes, especially if you are pregnant, under 18, managing a health condition, taking medication, or have a history of disordered eating.
Your account
Keep your sign-in details private and tell us if you think someone else has access. You're responsible for activity on your account. You can delete your account at any time.
Subscriptions
Bovvio Pro is sold through Google Play. Prices are shown before you buy. Free trials convert to a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial ends. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled in Google Play, and refunds follow Google Play's policies. Deleting your Bovvio account does not cancel a subscription.
Lifetime purchase
Bovvio Pro Lifetime is a one-off purchase through Google Play that unlocks Pro for as long as Bovvio offers Pro features, on any phone signed in to the same Google account.
Invite rewards
Each account has an invite code. When someone uses your code within 30 days of creating their account, you both get 7 days of Pro. Each account can use one code, rewards are capped at 26 per person, and we may withhold or remove rewards gained through fake accounts or other abuse. Reward days are not exchangeable for money.
Shopping links and sponsored offers
Some product links earn Bovvio a commission, and offers marked "Sponsored" are paid placements. This never changes a product's grade. As an Amazon Associate, Bovvio earns from qualifying purchases.
Fair use
Don't misuse the service: no attempts to break its security, scrape it, overload it, resell access, or use it to break the law. We apply daily limits to AI features to keep them working for everyone.
Content and data
Your log is yours. Food data comes from USDA FoodData Central and Open Food Facts (Open Database Licence), and may contain mistakes - check labels when it matters.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Bovvio available but can't promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may update the app and these terms; we'll tell you about important changes in the app.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Otherwise, to the extent the law allows, Bovvio isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK or EU you keep the protections of your local consumer law.
